Falconcity of Wonders LLC was honored for its exemplary contributions towards the welfare of Dubai’s community through its “diamond sponsorship” for “the White Points System” initiative of the Dubai Police. The award was presented by Major General Mohammed Saif Al Zafeen, Dubai Police’s Assistant Commander- in-chief for Operations to Mr. Ahmad bin Salem Almoosa, Vice Chairman & Deputy General Manager of FCW, on behalf of H.E. Salem Almoosa, Chairman and General Manager of FCW.
The White Points System was introduced by the Dubai Police in 2012 to encourage motorists to abide by traffic rules, promote safe driving, and reward good drivers. All motorists with licenses issued in Dubai and who own the registration license of the vehicle they drive are qualified for inclusion in the system. Well-behaved participants are rewarded with gift vouchers, the opportunity to cancel black points and fines, and other incentives. The system eventually aims to achieve zero vehicle-related deaths by the year 2020.
Falconcity of Wonders is a strong supporter and major sponsor of the initiative, and continues its support this year for the fourth time as a step to complement the system’s objectives. This forms part of the company’s efforts to take part in nurturing a safe community environment in Dubai.
Mr. Ahmad bin Salem Almoosa, Vice Chairman & Deputy General Manager of Falconcity of Wonders LLC, said: “We commend the Dubai Police on their continuous efforts in finding methods of keeping the UAE a safe place for everyone, and we are committed towards supporting Dubai Police in our utmost capacity. It is an honor to receive this recognition which will serve as further encouragement in our efforts to stand in solidarity with Dubai’s government in meeting the objectives set forth by the National Agenda in line with the UAE Vision 2021. We will continue to reinforce the goals of Dubai Police in making the UAE as one of the safest countries in the world for residents and visitors.”
